Nintendo's New Poll for the Next Super Smash Bros. Character, how did you Vote!

So...maybe this is me being paranoid, but has anyone else noticed that this was started on April first?  Is this even a real thing, or is Nintendo just yanking our nuts?

Yes, but this is a vote for what characters should be added as future DLC for both games. So far I've voted for Knuckles the Echidna, Tails, and Proto Man.

I voted for King K. Rool, and Dixie Kong. I really want Simon Belmont but I highly doubt non Nintendo characters will get any consideration except maybe Sonic ones.

Yeah the problem with K Rool if im not mistaken is Rare owns the right to him not Nintendo, but who knows, we have already seen some Microsoft Big Wigs wanting Banjo & Kazooie in!

I thought the same at first but Nintendo does actually does own him. He's been in some spinoffs since Rare was acquired by MS like Mario Super Sluggers, King of Swing, Jungle Climber and Barrel Blast. Also Banjo & Kazooie would be freaking sweet too!

Its really not like nintendo to pull something like that, I mean its not like they have ever pulled anything like Capcom's Mega Man Legends project fiasco, I'm still super pissed about the lack of mega Man Legends 3, and I was not even one of the people participating in the Dev Room!
