So I'm looking for some opinions/suggestions on how to do my NES display with regards to Gaunetlet.  I've got both the licensed and the unlicensed cartridges.  I guess my first question is does anyone have a custom cover for Gauntlet other than what's on TCP site?  All I've seen is based on the retail box art, but I figured I'd ask.

Assuming not, how would you guys suggest I display it for the best aesthetics?  Should I just print off two of the same cover and put them both on the shelf side-by-side?  Should I store on somewhere and just keep one boxed and on the shelf?  I know it's a bit of a trivial thing, but I take a lot of pride in the display of my collection, and I'm not sure what to do in this situation.  Thanks.

Yeah, wish there was a licensed version of the cover on the site.  Its on my list for NES needs..

Tengen gold is the only cover available.

Was there a separate box?  I admittedly haven't really scoured the interwebz for one, but all my brief Google image searches revealed was the Tengen box.  If there was a separate licensed box, we could try looking for some raw scans.

According to wiki (if it can be believed) both versions used the same box art.

What sort of design were you looking for for the second cart?

This is pretty nice

Yeah, the Tengen games that had licensed/unlicensed versions used the same art except for the gold edge.  Basically the licensed versions had the artwork covering the whole top (and presumably spine), the unlicensed boxes had the artwork shrunk in slightly with gold edging.
Attempting a complete NTSC-U NES set.  Sell me your games!

Winner!  Being that there are a limited number of Licensed Tengen titles, the gold boxes are MUCH more common.  But, the manual for Gold Box Gauntlet seems to have the missing piece of art.  I might have that manual, I'll take a look.

Other game in the same situation:
RBI Baseball

Only Tengen game we have with a "licensed" cover.

Thanks for the insight guys.  It now makes sense why I could only find the one cover.   :P

While I'm at it, does anyone have a cover for Venice Beach Volleyball?  That's the only one of my NES games for which I haven't been able to find a cover.
