Oh remembered one from yesterday. I asked my local cinema had they had any April's Fools jokes, and they had one. Someone had hijacked someone else's account that can be used to reserve seats (free and no charce even for not picking up the tickets) and had reserved 36 seats (all that were left available in sold out premiere of Fast and Furious 7 around the cinema) and then changed the password. Then the person had informed the original owner of the account 5 minutes after the closing period of cancelling the reservationsions online and the original owner had then called the cinema in panic as he feared he would get penalised (like I said no fear for that). They told me that they had suspected that being the case as the IP address was different than normally had been, and continued the joke by telling the person that the bill for the uncancelled tickets was already on the way. Needles to say the person was bit paniced. ;D Anyway cinema canceled the reservations and 36 lucky person who had taken the chance and stayed waiting for tickets for the sold out showing of the movie got in. They also mentioned that is why they never cancel my reservations even after the normal pick up time (30 minutes before the show) has ellapsed, as they know that I always come at the last minute or even bit after the comercials have started. |
