Finally got a resolution with Amazon I was happy with in regards to my damaged FFType-0 HD Collector's Edition (they initially said to just order from a 3rd party and they would pay the difference, well the difference was about $40 -- and I countered with why not just give me a $40 credit/refund and I'd keep the damaged copy. They initially refused but eventually agreed to a $30 credit).

Probably one of the nicer SquareEnix exclusives I've picked up.

The gold steelbook is gorgeous, pics don't even come close to doing it justice.

@Arseen
I was about to message you saying I didn't think I'd find a 4" Link anywhere around me, since all the stores were starting to carry the 1-2 line and not 1-1; but today when out buying diapers and almond milk for the toddler, swung through the toy department and happened to find one :D

So I now have all of the 4" Series 1-1 and 1-2 ready to be packaged up and sent over.

I still haven't seen any of the Series 1-3 for the 2.5"/3" out anywhere yet, not sure if you'd want me to wait and do 1 large shipment or 2 shipments (PM me and we can figure details out).

@Larry
I've still got your Samus here, which other ones were you interested in? Stores around me have gotten a restock it seems of their 1-2 series (Luigi, Blue Toad, Diddy Kong and Samus). Haven't seen any of the larger 6" ones yet (I had 2 TRU's in my area and they were the only place I'd seen the larger WoN stuff, but 1 just closed down).

I picked up a PlayStation Gold Wireless headset! The sound and build quality are both much nicer than I was expecting. I was expecting them to be around the same quality as the Turtle Beaches in the same price range but they are much nicer than them!

And despite the name, you can use them wired if you want to. That's what I've been doing.

They rock!  I got the white pair a few months back.  What's awesome is you can also use them with Xbox One and even Xbox 360, and they STILL have the surround sound, but don't use the batteries!   :D

Snap!  I didn't know they work with the Xbone.  May have to get a set.

I've been thinking about getting a pair too - I like the way they look, and them being first-party makes them feel "official", if that makes any sense.

Just note, you WILL need the Xbox One headset adapter to use them.  They do not have wireless functionality with anything put PS3/PS4.  But if you use the headset adapter, you can plug them in (with any standard audio cord) directly to the controller to make them like a super duper xbox headset with surround sound.  Mic even works!

Does the 360 require an adapter too? I don't have any Xbox One in my life - if I got these, they'd be for my PlayStation 4 and the 360.

I was going to order the Ganondorf from Toy Wiz for $18 but Paypal would not go through and they raised it to $25 this morning. I called and they said there was nothing they could do. And BBTS sold out.

I need Samus and Diddy Kong from the "4 line. I'm debating whether I should bite the bullet on ToyWiz, some things were cheaper.

Well I've got Samus ($8.50+shipping) so much cheaper than ToyWiz :)
Should also be able to grab a 4" Diddy Kong for the same $8.50+shipping.

(Looking at the prices on ToyWiz, I'm debating just ordering the 6" Ganondorf now, given how it looks like they adjust prices based on demand/inventory levels)

I just added the Wave 3 Mini Luigi and Ganondorf. I could not add the Metroid to my order because it is still a preorder.

I'm mad about the small mark up but it evens out, because I saved on the others.

ITEM -------------  PRICE ------- MSRP ------- SAVINGS

6" Ganondorf --------- $25 ----------- $15 ------------- -$10

2.5" Luigi ---------------$3 -------------- $5 -------------- +$2

2.5" Olimar ---------- $8.50 ------------$5 --------------  -$3.50

2.5" Mario ------------ $2 -------------- $5 ---------------  +$3

4" Toad --------------- $5.50 ----------- $10 ------------ +$4.50

4" Luigi ----------------  $7.50 ----------- $10 ------------ +$3.50

Overpaid - $13.50

Saved - $13

So I overpaid $0.50 + $7.62 shipping.

not bad. I just need the Metroid now.  :-[

That's what they say on the phone.

Nice pickup with the Twin Snakes.  Not a perfect remake, but definately worth playing.  I just wish they would do a proper HD remake on a Sony system (so you can use a proper controller).  The level in MGS4 where you revisit Shadow Moses really shows you what they could do on a PS3 or PS4.  But I dream.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

With all the buying and shipping he's doing, I think Velmeran should be nominated for this month's MVP!

Also, perhaps it's time we make a dedicated "World of Nintendo" thread? It'll help us all to better co-ordinate and share our collections and knowledge.

Just shoehorn them into the amiibo thread.
