While driving home from a 1 hour shift at the bar I stopped by a 'thrift sale' (we call 'em garage sales in minnesota but people are crazy here in wisconson) and I found this lot for just $20

Guy said the PSP doesn't work but I replaced the screen with an old one that didn't power up and it works fine.

Then on a day trip to my parents place I stopped by Target and found some Toads, Megaman, and Sonic

Also had to get the Link Gamepad for my collection and a "Handsome" game too.

I think we all know about the Target sale and clearance items, but I thought I would check out Kmart as well.  I don't know if this is for all Kmarts, or just the one in my town, but they are apparently no longer selling video games.  All of the consoles and all of the display cabinets are gone.  The few games that were left were marked down to clearance prices and then they took another 40% off.  Nothing great, but these were super cheap so why not.  Nintendo Land is the 9th game for the third system I don't own in the last two days.  I guess I have some consoles to buy.  :P

I also picked up The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, King Koop Katastrophe.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I thin Kmarts are a dying place.  I've seen probably 10+ close down in the last 4 years

So while I never really got in to the Amiibo craze...I am a complete sucker for collectible controllers.

This took a few months to amass, especially since my Samus preorder too forever to get here.  I got really lucky finding a Luigi at a local Gamestop a few months back.  And the white SSB Gamecube controller was also a nice find at Magfest, considering I didn't know this existed (I guess it was Japanese exclusive).  I have a second Link that I have actually opened and will use, while the rest of these will probably stay boxed and shelved.

There is still a Black stand alone Smash Bros NGC controller at my GS, if you want it.

Thanks for the heads up!  But I actually already have one - and only now realized I didn't picture it.  I think in my mind I counted the black NGC in the SSB box as the black one.  So imagine the black stand alone sitting on top the white box.   ;D

I work part time at Gamestop. We received a display of the Nintendo wired fight pads last week.  I think all of the characters are available.

A few more Kmart clearance games.  Nothing big, but they were just are just a few bucks now.  They are now going 45% off lowest marked price.

I picked up a PlayStation Gold Wireless headset! The sound and build quality are both much nicer than I was expecting. I was expecting them to be around the same quality as the Turtle Beaches in the same price range but they are much nicer than them!

And despite the name, you can use them wired if you want to. That's what I've been doing.

They rock!  I got the white pair a few months back.  What's awesome is you can also use them with Xbox One and even Xbox 360, and they STILL have the surround sound, but don't use the batteries!   :D

Snap!  I didn't know they work with the Xbone.  May have to get a set.
