I bought this off the seller a few days ago, I noticed that it does not fit right into my gameboy as it is slightly thicker then Official GameBoy Advanced games, after this I noticed the Game Boy Advanced logo on the cartridge is wrong, the lettering is skinnier and its raised rather high in comparison to official GameBoy Advanced Cartridges! At this point I decided to open the cartridge, and Found that it Has Glop Top Chips, which GameBoy Advance Games do not use. and the inside of the cart is not right either! the first three pics are of the counterfeit, the rest are of a official cartridge for comparison. Notice the difference in the GameBoy Advanced Logo on the top of the front of the cartridge, Those Black Glops on the counterfeit are not used on official GameBoy Advanced Games, and you can easily notice the difference on the inside of the cartridge! I also took notice he has sold several of the Same GameBoy Advanced games which is suspicious, and all his current GameBoy Advanced game listing seem to have the same problem with the GameBoy Advanced Logo!

So any one want to help me report this guys counterfeit GBA games on ebay

Update: Could not get the pics to link right so here is a link to the folder on media fire

If they listed it as "this is the game " and NO mention of it being a repo/fake then yes you can complain but I doubt much will happen.  If they say it is a repo/fake you would be out of luck.

they say no such thing, just the games are tested and working, and of course the proper name in the title

Before reporting, I'd contact him and let him explain himself.

Already contacted him, he was very dismissive!
but its not like he does not know what he is selling, he has sold several copies of each of the counterfeits he has up for sale.
I mean to have so many copies he must be ordering them out of China in bulk!

Well, if he's dismissive and not offering you a refund, then report him.  I tried to sell a gba multicart a few years ago, and eBay pulled the listing due to it being non original.  They should pull all his listings.

Yeah believe it or not ebay has become even more of a pain in the ass, now before ya can open a case ya have to open a return request, if you do not come to a decision withing 7 days you can open up a case against em, but its rare for me to run into a problem that is not easily solved with a message or 2 to the Seller!

but not so easy with scammers like these!

Every one of his GBA games has the little number stamp on the label. They are all stamped "11" and very indented. Easily seen in the pictures.

yes yes they are, Counterfeits are getting better arnt they, the Glop chips, and them being thicker are the dead give aways, seems odd that there all stamped the same number? also that fact that he has sold several of each game of the 4 games he has listed! Sounds like he got em in bulk stright from china!

Doesn't matter.  If they're bootleg, then they're bootleg, whether he mentions it or not.

yeah but at least if they say they are the person buying them cant really say they didn't know if it is in the title or description.  That was what I was trying to get at.  At least that way the seller covers there own ass by saying "Yeah it is not an original so don't expect one"

Is he wrong for the way he listed the posting? yes completely.  The seller is 100% at fault.  Do I care if people sell repo/fakes? As long as they say they are so the buyer is not scammed I think it is fine.

Yeah this way I got 8 loose SNES games that are rare and expensive, or don't exsist as real carts.

I they were:
- Pocky and Rocky 2
- Turtles 4 with infinite health (yep impossible to die).
- Castlevania 4
- Final Fight Guy
- Final Fight 2
- Legend of Zelda Parallel Worlds Redone 1.1
- Dragon Ball Z game in English (I think it was the RGB one).
- Ramna ½ in English.

I bough them as a lot IIRC and I paid less than 20 euros each including postage.

Repro/ Fakes are such a touchy subject... For me, I have no problem with repros of games that would not have been available here, or with mods (Earthbound Uncut, Japanese>English, etc.) How else are we supposed to play these outside of an emulator? Counterfeit games, listed as legit, are obviously not okay.
My cover requests:

Jade Cocoon (PS1)
Shovel Knight (3ds/WiiU)

Ya, for me games that are either unreleased, one-region only, hacks, or home-brew are OK. I'm not a HUGE fan of repros of real games (unless they are clearly labeled as such) but they're fine, I just don't buy them personally (yet anyways). Fakes are NOT cool though. It's lying to people in order to make a quick buck. These bootleggers are the scamming scum of the retro gaming community and only hurt people. Hope we can get rid of this guy.
To be this good it takes AGES!
