Yes, so this!
Manuals disassembled (atleast the ones that are stabled, glued ones I would not dare to break).
Scanned 600DPI (300DPI minimum), absolutely straight, flat and moire free.
Thank you.

Out of all my attempts, I got the best result scanning a page sideways and using Photoshop's automated straightening. :-\ There seems to be some margin loss when I line it up with the edge of the bed. If this turns into too much of a hassle for me, maybe I could send my manuals to someone and let them keep them if they scan them for me.

I can scan...
But to combat the loss, put something between the edge of the scanner and the manual, something like inch wide 5 inch long strip of paper, that helps you align the page.

LOL You know by now that I will just beg for scans - like a dog for a bone.
I am content with scans for now. You've scanned alot for me all ready. I'm happy and Thankful. No requests my Friend.
Regarding manual scans, you are very good at scanning boxes and manuals. I am just thinking that if anyone should offer any scanning advice, then it should be Arseen.

Okay, I bought an L shaped carpenter square, I think that will work. After I get my scans, I can send the pages to you just to see if your results are any better.
