So there was an article a while back about the old Atari Jaguar tooling going up for sale.  According to Atari Age, GameGavel.com purchased the tooling and they are going to offer a limited production run of translucent jaguar consoles ($45) and matching cartridges ($8).  Prices include US shipping.

Is anyone thinking about ordering these?  I'm tempted.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

It's neat, but I like the original look personally.

Well I read through the forum, and it seems that the deadline for ordering was midnight on Sunday.  That sucks that I missed out on it because I think I would have ordered one even though it would require modification to get the Jaugar board to fit (the molds were modified for the dental camera).

Oh well, it sounds like the owner has future plans for the molds.  Also, he said that the molds came with about 500 of the white shells.

I do too, but I still think I would have ordered one just to have it, even if I didn't use it in my setup.  I'm considering ordering a while shell for the same reason.  Besides, I have a spare Jaguar board. ;)
