Don't hate the Amiibos, hate the scalpers and the super-desperate people willing to pay $100 for Marth! 

Couldn't care less about the scalpers.  I'm just so tired of every gaming forum having 50 threads about the damned things and the insane amounts of effort people put forth to get them.  It's like when bronies became a thing and that's all I head about for like 3 months.

Wiggy, I'm with you as I just can't get into these things at all..... but at least the TCP members have done a good job keeping their Amibo posts under one thread, not counting the monthly pickup thread.  I think that's reasonable as it's easy to skip over them if you're not interested.

@Mel  I can try.  I have a scanner in my printer but to be honest I have never used it in the 7 years I owned it.  Also be advised.  The PS2 games are all shmups, and the PSP are all shmups with the exception of 1.

On some mostly non-Amiibo figure updates

I have a AmiAmi order going on,



I have 2 of each of the Mega Man model kits. $18 each, That Zelda Hyrule Warriors scarf for $15, and A Toad Amiibo on order, to ship when Toad launches.

I have been getting into Mega Man recently, I got MM2 on VC on the 3DS when it was on sale at SSB4 launch, and I'm really liking it for the most part, I got to the Wily stage and my save file got lost. I need the password for it. What are some recommendations in the franchise? I have MM 2 (Wont work) and MM3 on the NES, and MMX on the SNES. I was thinking of just getting the PS2 collections for now.

I have 2 of each, because I also want to try to make a posable figure of 1-3 of my main characters from the comic series, JDex. The MM style is close to how I do proportions, and I want to have a figure as a reference model for posing. I might have to somehow get the head 3D printed, I think clay might be to heavy. The rest of the body would just need paint, and Protoman would be a good base, sense both characters have scarves.

Larry how much is shipping running you? I was debating ordering the Zelda scarf but was a bit unsure on shipping costs.

I do not have a estimate yet, and even if I did, I am getting 8 things. I ordered a few Amiibos and other figures and it was a fair price. One scarf should not cost much, why not ask customer service?


I also got my Smash sountrack in today, the CD Jewel case is garbage, the flimsiest one I ever felt and broke when turning to the blue CD, but it was free so I can't complain.

It's reasonable here. On Nintendoage the first page in the collector's corner has like 4-5 active amiibo-related threads. And people start new ones like every day (which end up getting locked usually).

I just can't care about them or the trouble that they are to obtain.

I just tried to preorder the MK10/ Mario Amiibo bundle, because My GRU thing I go for $30 knocks off $13, giving me the Mario for free, BUT, for some reason my Pay Pal account has negative $0.09 and I cant order anything though direct bank transfer now for a week.

OVER -$0.09, when I always transfer from my bank account. IDK why that is there.

Emailed customer service, they sent me a email that did not help at all. Telling me to click some link that is not there.
