...but I don't plan to open them until I get an actual PS Vita or PS TV.

FYI you'll need a Vita if you want to play Resistance, doesn't work with the PS TV...

Yeah, I haven't check compatibility yet, but I figured the games were so cheap, I could risk it.  I still think there's a chance for them to patch some of the compatibility issues.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

there's a good chance for resistance, PSTV recognises and "installs" the card, it just won't play...

honestly, i think if they patched it to work with the touch pad of the PS4 controller, that would fix most of the compatibility issues...

That seems like such an obvious answer.  I can't understand why this hasn't happened yet.

Could you move this discussion over to the PSTV thread?, after my mini rant...

I think at some point the PSTV was going to be 100% compatible with Vita games, it was called the Vita TV initially, but then someone at a design meeting said " HANG ON A MINUTE! If we make this fully compatible with the Vita, then why would anyone buy a Vita? " (a few seconds of silence) " HE'S RIGHT! SHIT! "
So they did something to kill compatibility, removed a small chip, or (hopefully) messed up the BIOS, then promoted it's PS4 connectivity and other things, and "oh, it also plays Vita games" was tacked onto the end...

I hope sony can patch in 100% compatibility...

Actually, it's even worse then that.  My understanding was that the Vita was originally designed with a video out port (like the 2000 and 3000 PSP models), so that you could just run a video cable from the Vita to your TV and use the Vita as the controller.   However, at the last minute they removed that feature so that they could sell the PS TV, because who would buy a PS TV if they could just run a video cable from the Vita?

Also, I thought that Vita TV was just the name of the Japanese version of the PS TV, but I'll have to check on that.

I just purchased 100 Famicom Disk System games.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/WHOLESALE-FAMICOM-DISK-SYSTEM-Lot-100-Nintendo-Disk-Only-Whole-sale-3149dk-/301559191811?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=xHVxjznuSt6nVS8oqxPOAzdfHNM%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Why you ask? .... becuase its cool, i don't have it and i want it (always a bad combo)  ;D

I just received my lot from Japan but i only received 97 disks AND the most valuable games were missing entirely (One being Transformers: The Head Masters). My Shenske is not happy and i have filed a dispute on ebay  >:(

EDIT:
Son of a bitch! My belt just broke on the 5th game i was testing

Didn't you get them from hit-Japan?  Prolly didn't need to file a claim. They're pretty damned responsive. I'm sure they would have sorted you out with a message.

Im not quite sure if it is a claim yet. I sent them a message to "ask a question" about the product. I clicked on "Incomplete product" and it brought me to the refund page. I wrote them a message about the missing games (I don't want a refund but I do want the games that were missing).

I got an automated notification from eBay telling me to give them 7 days to respond. If an agreement is not reached please let ebay know and they can step in.

I've ordered dozens of things from hitjapan but the fact I was missing the valuable games seems shady. Especially considering the Transformers game that was missing was listed on their store at almost the same time my box was shipped out.

I hope they try and make this right.
