FYI you'll need a Vita if you want to play Resistance, doesn't work with the PS TV...

Yeah, I haven't check compatibility yet, but I figured the games were so cheap, I could risk it.  I still think there's a chance for them to patch some of the compatibility issues.
Dr.Agon:
there's a good chance for resistance, PSTV recognises and "installs" the card, it just won't play...

honestly, i think if they patched it to work with the touch pad of the PS4 controller, that would fix most of the compatibility issues...

That seems like such an obvious answer.  I can't understand why this hasn't happened yet.

Or.... They could patch the pstv to to use the damn vita as the controller on those incompatible games.
Dr.Agon:
Could you move this discussion over to the PSTV thread?, after my mini rant...

I think at some point the PSTV was going to be 100% compatible with Vita games, it was called the Vita TV initially, but then someone at a design meeting said " HANG ON A MINUTE! If we make this fully compatible with the Vita, then why would anyone buy a Vita? " (a few seconds of silence) " HE'S RIGHT! SHIT! "
So they did something to kill compatibility, removed a small chip, or (hopefully) messed up the BIOS, then promoted it's PS4 connectivity and other things, and "oh, it also plays Vita games" was tacked onto the end...

I hope sony can patch in 100% compatibility...
