I haven't seen this referenced anywhere, but it's what I do, and for our game collecting and organizing, it's awesome! Here's the gist:
I can print 50 covers per month (any quality level) for 2.99 a month on my home printer. When my ink runs low, my printer sends it's status to tell HP to send more ink. I'm not paying anything for getting ink sent, just paying the monthly fee. That's really all there is to it. If you print more, you can get a bigger plan.
I'm NOT trying to sell anything, if it comes off that way, I totally apologize. I just remember what its like going to Staples every other week for ink, then finding a cheaper option with the local cartridge refiller, then finding that my printer can be used with the HP Instant Ink program.
