| *New* 3DS XL - Just an integrated Circle Pad Pro? |

So I was thinking... Aside from the new 3D and increased processing power, is the new 3ds xl basically just a built in circle pad pro? I haven't tried it with games like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate or Resident Evil Revelations yet, but Majora's Mask said something about the circle pad pro in the options menu. |

Yes. They did do some slight menu differences especially with the wifi switch. Kinda sucks for some games. I think I'll just stick with my old system. |

Well, it is a new hardware as it will have proprietary software in the future. An example of this is Xenoblade Chronicles 3-D. It also has extra shoulder buttons. |

I will admit, the 3d effect is much better on it. On the original, I never use the 3d. Mostly because I hate trying to find that sweet spot and it ends up giving me a headache anyway. With the new 3ds I have left the 3d on the entire time, and it really is a cool effect. So if 3d is your thing, this is definitely a quality upgrade |
