Thanks for that!
How did you do it by the way, did you create a vector in illustrator?
I do not like Adobe or Adobe products. I do not own shares of Adobe stock, thus I am not interested in promoting Adobe in any way.
I am a rebel: I use Ulead PhotoImpact which no longer exists. PI was sold to Corel, then axed.
However, my methods require more time and effort. You may wish to learn Photoshop and ask for help in the PS community.
You would have to ask a Photoshop lover for how to perform the following tasks in Photoshop:
http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/5e21/yafrlb2fgwbdqkfzg.jpgI use the rectangle shape creation tool to create the blue rectangle as an object (layer in Adobe PS?).
I set the transparency to 8% which looks close to the box scan.
You could create another rectangle as an outline for the white border but i use the selection tool to manually outline.
I use the fill tool with anti-aliasing set to 10 for the red Cyborg wordmark. Then, I manually replace any discolored pixels.
I have a much busier schedule this year, so i do not have time to work on covers. I will help when i can do so.
I see that Oobgarm created a logo for you, so you could use that instead.
vector is nice but it is not always precise. I often prefer to recreate the logo myself. However, i would suggest sticking with vector if you can do so. I have Magic Tracer for vector work but I never use it. I haven't mastered it yet.
Have a great day.
