This is probably the way to go. ;)

Anywhoo, I'd like to issue a big ol'
WARNING
Isn't taking "donations" how sites like this tend to get shut down?  I do *not* want to lose TheCoverProject, and I'm sure no one else does either...  But honestly, it's kinda skirting the law as it is...  I don't know what the best way to do this would be, but it'd probably be best if it wasn't anything "official"... just my two cents. :)

And that's why I have just been thinking about it for some time and not actually taking any action. =)

It somewhat scares me what the legal complication might be.

I hear other places get around this with Torrents, haha.

Torrents aren't really an option for us. The site is supported by the few ads that are clicked each month and with me not making money off this, I am pretty confident we won't be shut down anytime soon. That said, if you guys want to do something like this you have my blessing.

What would it cost to advertise The Cover Project on some gaming sites? Especially old school sites? That would potentially reach new game collectors who have boxes, as well as bring more traffic and ad revenue back to Snow.

Ya know, if someone wanted to donate some money to the site couldn't you set up a PayPal Account? (I also think it would be a GREAT idea to advertise on some "Old School" Sites.
