Which one do you prefer? Also, what size do you print at to fit for the originals?

Often times I can't find ''CASE ONLY'' on Ebay when looking for the originals.

Personally, I ONLY use original Genesis cases for these games.  For me, I am lucky enough to have some used game stores that sell some sports titles pretty cheap complete - around $1 - $1.50 each.  I buy 10-15 of these at a time (I'd get more, but on the off chance someone actually WANTS Joe Montana Sports Talk Football 94, I leave a handful)  Then I just strip and refill.  I used to save the labels and manuals...but now they just get tossed.  Carts are saved for donors or sent to the local goodwill (the one I DON'T go to, so I don't have to worry about getting my hopes up when I walk in only to find that pile of Genesis games is the same crap pile I gave them).

As for WHY...I think I'm just a Genesis fan, and since those boxes are common, cheap and easy to acquire, it's a nice change of pace from the UGCs that house all the other carts on my shelf.

I dont see many sports games in the box in my area, I think there must be someone else getting them and stripping them.  So I just order these from amazon>

Mind they are a tad bit cheaper quality, but I do like them for genesis games over the media cases.

I have a hard time finding Sega cases that are in good condition.  I would rathre just use a brand new UGC with a nice clean sleeve.

Also, some sports games used different size spines or different size cars with different size cart holders.  They tend to be pretty common, but I don't want to use those.

And you use the Cover Project for the covers?

Yup.  Most titles have Genesis sized labels, and if not I just resize them in photoshop elements.  I am also a fan of uniformity, so every genesis game I have has a red stripe case, as opposed to a black or checkered.  So a lot of games I have to edit myself and create my own covers.  They are not up to TCP standards by any means, but they are a nice place holder until someone with actual talent comes along and makes one.

I have used these, unfortunately the sleeve is very clear and thin, unlike official genesis cases that have a thicker, more matte plastic sleeve (similar to a UGC).  Not bad, but at $2 a pop, these are not my cup of tea.

Upload plz plz plz.  I'm of the same opinion, both in the striving for uniformity and the not having absurdly high standards.

Well, like I said, these are not the quality covers you find on TCP.  But I'd be happy to post what I have if people need them.  I'll post of list of some of the titles I have in the after noon (West coast time)

I'm in the process of doing this as well.  I love the uniform red spines, so I'm using Shenske's template.  That way everything matches perfectly.  It's time consuming, but it's worth it.  I'm also posting mine as I go, but I'm behind schedule and need to get back to it.

Look at this example:

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=11253

On the right it gives a list of descriptors, the last one is case size.  If it says "Genesis", it is for a Genesis case, NOT a UGC

Any of you guys try these out yet?

https://www.pikointeractive.com/store.html#!/Sega-Genesis-Game-Case-Black-Case-of-10/p/45670335/category=9430348

In the hardware and accesory section.

I have not, but judging by the sheen of the sleeve in the (admittedly terrible) picture, they look like the same, cheaper quality ones on Amazon.
