But you use the custom ones, particularly for games that only have custom options.

Do you ever mix them together on your shelf?

I chose custom (vertical) on day 1 since there was more choice and also more uniformity on the template.
If it would not be a question of price (reprint) or availability, I may switch to retail one day.

i haven't start to case my games. but i preffer the original look, what i have in plane is add the covers to all the games that have a retail cover and the others wait/ask/do it my self depending on the work that has to be made to complete those covers. but for me NO CUSTOM COVERS  :P

i will have a lot of naked games lol

No, I use the customs because it gives me a uniform look that satisfies my OCD.   If a vertical custom does not exist I will make one.

I prefer uniform spines.  Can't help it.  OCD.  8)
