DEL 707:
Not sure if this is the best part of the forum to ask, but I've never used photoshop before and I want to make some basic changes to some covers.
It's just removing some of the text on the template.
How do I go about removing the "SOLD BY" by text?
shenske:
1. That is an OLD template, you should download the new new one
2. Photoshop? Just click the eyeball next to the layer and it will go away
DEL 707:
Hi, thanks for the reply, I wasn't really clear in the original post.
I was originally trying to alter a cover that was already made, was actually your Zelda Pal cover, Shenske.
Thought it would be easier to alter one that's already made, then make my own.
Last night and this morning, I thought I'd have a go at making my own using your template, great stuff by the way.
I'm trying to use the magnetic lasso tool to get the title picture off the Pal artwork at the moment, thought it would be easier then the polygon tool, because the swords sticking over the bottom layer. I've been googling how to do the simple stuff like pan, when zoomed it.
But here's a question, when you zoomed in, is there a way to see past the edges of the picture?
DEL 707:
O.k more playing around.
Kinda insane, but I'm trying to make a Pal artwork box without the word "PAL" plastered over it. So all I've been doing is cutting stuff off other covers and placing them into the template. I'm sure it's 5 minutes work for most of you, but it's taken me several hours, I have to google how to do everything, even simple things like panning while you've got the lasso active. :o
Effort so far.

I had no idea how to get the top screenshot off with the "Only for Nintendo" in the the way. So I could it quits and found another screenshot online.
Have I done something wrong? Because I had to stretch the image to get it to fit into the box.
Is there anything I can do about the white writing on the logo? Looks a bit crappy close up, not sure how it'll look when I print out.
And last question, what font and size do you use for the game description on the back?
