If you find any purpose at all for the pstv let me know.  Mine is gathering dust.  Most of the games I wanted to play on it are incompatible.  Very disappointed.

3 of the 5 games i have work, 'uncharted' doesn't even register, and when i try to start 'resistance' it tells me its incompatible and wont start.

personally, I'm with you guys, totally stupid and virtually useless, reason for buying was I thought it might become 'rare', not one of those rare, super valuable items, just quickly discontinued and uncommon/talking point...

I had one for a few hours because the Blu-Ray player in the bedroom isn't wi-fi and I was looking for a good device to stream Netflix. The guy behind the counter said it did in fact do netflix......it does not. Netflix has no plans of using their resources to support the device.

I'm hoping it gets hacked, and can use it for ps2/ps1 stuff off a memory card or somehow an external device.  Not sure even the hackers can be bothered with it though. Lol.  I have seen an exploit for putting psp roms on it, which I might try if nothing else comes up.

TDIRunner:

I might still pick one up if the price ever drops.  I would only be looking for the bare unit.  I don't need another controller or anything like that.

I got very lucky on eBay.
I have a backwards compatible PS3, And i have 4 memory cards for PS2/1

My PS3 is now my PS2/1 and I have been looking for a way to transfer my old saves.

The adapters go from $45-$50, and that is steep for a thing I'm only going to use once. I debated buying one and selling it, but was on the fence just in case I needed one in the future, and it is a good thing to keep with the system.

I have been sitting on it for a while, and I just decided to take another look because the one in my cart sold.

New, $7.00 + $3.65 shipping. New listing with 5 views.  ;D

Instant buy.
