Just ordered this https://www.nippon-yasan.com/nintendo-3ds-console-import-japan/10670-3ds-zelda-no-densetsu-mujura-no-kamen-3d-3ds-ll-pack.html I dont care if its the Jap one i will swap the motherboard later on and have a US system. Paid $260 with shipping not a bad price for a sold out system in the states  ;D

I think you only have to swap the outer covers which is made quite easy on this model.
have to swap the board with the XL/LL only the small one has the faceplates

*update*

just got the tracking number and its going to be here Wednesday and its coming from MATSUYAMA-SHI JP. wow and that was the lowest shipping with tracking

So I ordered a bunch of PSP and DS games from Gamefly a few days ago, and the first package came today.

I was expecting the game to be complete.  I wasn't expecting this...

Complete Y's I & II Collection Premium Edition complete with sealed soundtrack and excellent shape box...for a whopping $9  ;D

As of this writing it is sold out..HOWEVER it is available NOW for rent.  And the "keep it" option is still there...so...throw that shit to the top of your Q!!!

Would you be able to scan Devil Summer 2 : Raidou Kuzunoha Versus King Abaddon  and Infinite Space when you receive them?

I *think* Ys Chronicles on psp only came with the cd. I don't believe a "standard" edition was released......though, I could be completely wrong.

Found another GBA SP.  Same Goodwill that I found the other one two weeks ago. :D  I already have this color, so this one is up for trade.  It looks sort of pink in the picture (no jokes Arseen ;) ), but I assure you it's red.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

In general, what are their prices like for games that you "keep?"  Is it a potential opportunity to get games at a good price, or is it just expensive?

The "keep" option is the same price as if you were to buy it used from them.  The only difference is that the game has to be in your possession to "keep" it.  It won't let you buy it until you received it in the mail from them.

I get that part, but if the game isn't for sale (like Megatron's Ys example), is there any way to know what the "keep" price would be?

Keep in mind that I'm not a subscriber, so maybe I don't see as much as a subscriber does.  For example, is there an option to "keep" Yoshi's Island DS, and if so, how much is it?

The "Keep It" price is the same as if it were sold, so in this case, $8 and change.  They don't raise the prices because stock is low and (from what I can tell) they do not raise prices to meet current market value. Game values continue to depreciate, I have NEVER seen any actually go up in over 8 years on Gamefly.

And to answer your question, members can see the "keep it price" when you look at the page.  YOu aren't a member so it probably doesn't show up.  But to use your example, Yoshi's Island DS does NOT have a Keep It option, meaning they do not have the stock to sell.  This changes and fluctuates over time.  Stock comes and goes, like any store.  However, if you wanted, say, Yoshi's New Island for 3DS, hte keep it price is listed underneath it at $25.19

Thanks for the info.  I was just trying to gauge their pricing.  Yoshi's Island DS is a game I've been looking for recently, but I haven't found it for less then $25 which seems high to me.

Honestly, Nintendo games keep their values longer than most, although I have picked up some good titles like Mario Galaxy 2 for $17 back a few years ago.  However if you look at my post a few days ago (top of page 11), you'll see I bought Transformers for Xbox One and South Park Stick of Truth for about $22 total.  So, prices can and will vary.  They have a base price, which decreases over time until they sell out, and then they have sale prices where games they have a large stock of will dip into outrageous low prices (i.e.11.99 for Watchdogs PS4, or 8.99 for Stick of Truth) to drive up sales.
