I never noticed it because I viewed it from irfan on full scale. BUT when it is viewed from the web browser. YIKES! No wonder you were telling me how shitty they all were! Anyways I took the HP scanner back and got a Canon. It's now working fine with a working DESCREEN. Here's my first cover. "well after all the rescans maybe fifth!" But here it is completely devoid of those horrible patterns. I think it's actually ready to be posted, but someone may want to work on it. Anyways enjoy and tell me how this new one looks!

It's up and available on our site.... It was a good scan... Had just some white borders which I removed and some minor dust which I tidied up too.... After resizing it was read and there you go:
