I never noticed it because I viewed it from irfan on full scale. BUT when it is viewed from the web browser. YIKES! No wonder you were telling me how shitty they all were! Anyways I took the HP scanner back and got a Canon. It's now working fine with a working DESCREEN. Here's my first cover. "well after all the rescans maybe fifth!" But here it is completely devoid of those horrible patterns. I think it's actually ready to be posted, but someone may want to work on it. It's up and available on our site.... It was a good scan... Had just some white borders which I removed and some minor dust which I tidied up too....
