Hey all, I was looking for some input. Recently I went through my Xbox / 360 collection and green-boxed everything for uniformity, and I have all of these silver and grey dvd cases lying around now :P I was wondering what kinds of uses anyone else has had for these? Like if you have extra cases like the silver/grey ones that you know you'd likely never use, what would you do with them? Wanted to know what uses people have had for them be it special non-uniform case designs or whatnot.

I've got boxes full of extra DVD, Wii, PS2, etc. cases.  I keep em for whenever I might need a spare, decent condition case to replace another.

I have some spares for ones I'd really need as well, but I'm stuck for what I could possibly need the Platinum Hits cases for since I can't really see a use for a pearlescent silver dvd case. For authenticity's sake I might switch the cases back so I could have more spare green cases; I'd likely get more use out of them but who knows :P

If I had some silver/foil-ish material to print on I might consider like some kind of "special editions" for some of my favorite games but outside of that, no clue. The Xbox Platinum Hits cases are just so out of place color-wise.

Wait, so you have the Platinum Hits covers... in green cases?

I think if I was bothered by them coming in two colors, I'd just put the silver ones separate from the green ones.

And if I DID do what you did, I'd just keep them. It never ever hurts to have spares!

Keep them.  They don't take up much space, and you will use them for something eventually.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Nah, I switched the platinum hits covers for some regular covers from this site and elsewhere. That being said, Xbox 360 games started doing that back in 2013 since the ones I've been seeing in stores lately did away with the grey boxes.
