I would second the resident evil 2 (though I like the PS1 version better), and I think the Castlevania games are pretty good also.

I definitely will get into the Sega area after being satisfied with my Nintendo collection. Dreamcast will be the next Sega console I'm going to go after.

Not at all,  for me,  the nostalgia factor is what drives my collecting.  I was master system over nes,  then megaDrive AND snes, then ps1 over n64, or Saturn, ps2 over xbox, PS3 over 360. And although I own all of the ones I passed up at the time, it's the ones I have memories of that I still prefer. I would say out of everything I have owned, the dreamcast is definitely one of the best.

I understand this completely.

I first had an Atari 2600, but I didn't really get into gaming until the NES.  Therefore, I was Nintendo over Sega (NES over Master) for a while including going into the 16 bit era (SNES over Genesis).  However, with the next generation, I switched to PS1 over Nintendo or Sega.  I stuck with PlayStation through the next two generations (PS2 over GC, XB or Dreamcast and PS3 over Wii or 360).  I don't own a current gen system, but I have a feeling that I will own a Wii U before anything else.

With that said, I never considered myself to be a fan boy of any system.  Even though I preferred the SNES over the Genesis, I loved going over to my friend’s house that had the Genesis.  We NEVER had arguments over which system was better.  We just both loved playing both systems and since no one, and I mean NO ONE, had both systems back then, the next best thing was having a friend who had the "other" system.

That's why I love the fact that I can own all of the systems today that I didn't own back when they were in production.   ;D

For the record, I did buy a Wii and 360 while they were still in production making that generation the first generation where I owned multiple consoles at once.  I have a feeling that this was the first generation that most people bought multiple systems.

Can't decide if I should get this on the 64 or on the Playstation, Same thought goes through my head for the Tony Hawk games

I would say that the PS1 is the better version.  However, if you are looking for 50 notable N64 games, I would still include it and just have a copy for each system.

Aton7:

If you're into wacky 3D platformers (as if the N64 doesn't have enough of those) I highly recommend Space Station Silicon Valley. It's a great hidden gem for the system and quite different from your typical N64 platformer.
