this really stinks. OK, im not usually one to moan about this sort of thing. After all they dont need to offer anything, and i dont have to buy the products, but I lost thousands of star points for products already registered when they decided to put an expiry date on the old points. So when it changed, i thought, im not getting stung like that again, so i have been saving them up for when there is a physical reward I want, only to find that i now have thousands of points I cant register because the cards have expired. I know it's my fault for not checking the cards, but seriously - considering most of the rewards offered have been downloads - why do they feel the need to retire the points? If i've bought the game, surely i can register it at any point i want? This doesnt feel like a REWARD program to me - it feels like pulling the rug out from under you, which ever way you turn. I hope their new scheme is better suited towards the end user, or i'll just start selling my points cards on ebay. Plus, any points left over from their old scheme, should be transferred to the new one, or given a monetary value on the store, not just removed. Dont think they handle these schemes well at all. Oh well, another 18 IN date cards to scratch, and then go looking for my 3ds and wii-u boxes to find those reg cards. And my keyboard is now covered in silver shit. moan, moan, whinge, whinge............... |

I was lucky to find a few hundred points laying around in old Wii games (before they had expiry dates I guess), and I finally unsealed all my wii u games. I'm now a "happy" platinum member waiting for the feb. stuff to be posted. |
