Sucks, but considering I'm in NA I'm not that disappointed. We haven't gotten anything good in almost years. I ordered those 3DS card cases before they were gone, but that's about it.
At least now I don't have to get current and last gen Nintendo games new. I had a rule that I had to get 1st-party Nintendo titles new to ensure the code wasn't used or tossed, but now I don't need to.
Nintendo:  NES-101 | Wii | GB Boy Colour | GBA SP 101 | DSL | 3DS XL Zelda Edition
Sega: GG
SNK: NGPC
Sony: PS | PS2 | PS3 Slim | PSP 3000

They're supposedly going to be adding a ton of physical rewards in February so people can use up their coins. Still, this deeply saddens me that this service is going away. But, I have high hopes for this new club.

Based on what they're saying it's more like "über super limited number of pencil toppers and themed facial tissues" than "a ton" of anything :-\

I hope the last platinum gift is good. I have the ha and statue from pat years. I only have around 600 coins, but my friend Matt has a bunch unused for a Wii U, and a few games I do not have.

The last day to register products and complete surveys is 3/31/15

I hope the last platinum gift is good.

From the link posted in the first post...

"2015 Elite Status

In order to reach Elite Status, you must earn 300 Coins (for Gold Status) or 600 Coins (for Platinum Status) between July 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015. Members who reach Elite Status will be able to choose a downloadable game from a wide selection of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles. Your free Elite Status gift will be available between April 1 and April 30, 2015. A list of the Elite Status 2015 gifts will be posted here once announced."

Guess it'll all depend on the titles they pick to make available. Either way, I'm already disappointed. A digital download means all where getting is something we can already buy off the shelf or download from the eshop. No exclusivity what so ever...just like last year.

Hell I'd be ecstatic for just a simple ass Club Nintendo pin at this point...

Exclusive faceplates for the N3DS would be nice, although we aren't getting the small one at this point.
My cover requests:

Jade Cocoon (PS1)
Shovel Knight (3ds/WiiU)

Seems like EU club will be getting a nice sound track.

I saw that! I seriously hope we see that added to the NA Club Nintendo before the end. I would order that in a heartbeat. Hell, it's likely that I'll literally have to order it that quick in order to have any hope of getting one, what with the way things have been going lately with Nintendo products...

I got a Red MKDS bundle with an unused code, and got 40-50 coins!

Also Super Peach expired. They can do that?

What are you saying?  Is that a digital download that you can't play anymore because it expired?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I've never been part of Club Nintendo, so I wasn't sure what you meant.

this really stinks.

OK, im not usually one to moan about this sort of thing.  After all they dont need to offer anything, and i dont have to buy the products, but I lost thousands of star points for products already registered when they decided to put an expiry date on the old points.  So when it changed, i thought, im not getting stung like that again, so i have been saving them up for when there is a physical reward I want, only to find that i now have thousands of points I cant register because the cards have expired.

I know it's my fault for not checking the cards, but seriously - considering most of the rewards offered have been downloads - why do they feel the need to retire the points?  If i've bought the game, surely i can register it at any point i want? This doesnt feel like a REWARD program to me - it feels like pulling the rug out from under you, which ever way you turn.  I hope their new scheme is better suited towards the end user, or i'll just start selling my points cards on ebay.

Plus, any points left over from their old scheme, should be transferred to the new one, or given a monetary value on the store, not just removed.  Dont think they handle these schemes well at all.

Oh well, another 18 IN date cards to scratch, and then go looking for my 3ds and wii-u boxes to find those reg cards.  And my keyboard is now covered in silver shit.  moan, moan, whinge, whinge...............

hahahaha :D they really got us buy the balls.

I was lucky to find a few hundred points laying around in old Wii games (before they had expiry dates I guess), and I finally unsealed all my wii u games.
I'm now a "happy" platinum member waiting for the feb. stuff to be posted.
