International Shipping?

Megatron:
Hey guys,

So I have never shipped anything internationally before, and am negotiating a trade with another TCP member in Italy ( I am California, US).  Every shipping option I see is super expensive, like over $75.  DOes anyone know of a cheaper option or some way to lower the cost?

Thanks!

It's pricey. It sucks.

You can ship int'l 1st class and it will be a lot cheaper, but packages take forced and aren't very tracks or (if at all). I would highly recommend against it if possible.

Cost me around $85 to mail a box weight in about 11 or 12 lbs to the UK. It had a laptop and a coffee cup and a few other goodies. This was back in Aug or Sep

When I shipped a package to Sheep a few months back, I got 4 quotes.  The box was about the size of a shoe box and weighed 4 pounds.

  UPS - $190
  Fed Ex - $160
  DHL - $150
  USPS - $35

You get ONE guess as to which one I used.

It might sound silly, but I never knew before that USPS could ship international.  I almost didn't even get a quote there. :P

and it arrived safe and sound - relatively quick too.
