N.A. not getting the regular new 3DS. Only the xl.

Looked all good to me. Probably going to pick up the Majora's Mask edition New 3DS!

Still not sure how I feel about separate "Super Mario" edition amiibo. I guess I like it as long as I can get them all at retail price.

Really excited about Mario Party 10, Majora's Mask 3D, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., New Fire Emblem for 3DS, and Splatoon just looks really cool

Well it was only a matter of time before they did another line of amiibos :/ although I kinda hoped they'd finish smash line before doing the mario party line.

Also really excited for xenoblade chronicles x!

So disappointed during this Direct. Majora's Mask NEW 3DS XL edition looks like butt, should have used purple instead of just gold again, already sold out on Gamestop.com as well. No charger included with the New 3DS XL either. No regular New 3DS. No news about N64 or Gamecube Virtual Console. Story of Seasons is eShop only (not Nintendo's fault, I know.) No Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii download, just a down port for the N3DS that looks like butt. No mention of Pokken Tournament, when I saw Harada on I thought for sure it would about Pokken and not some unknown game that he was teasing. 

Some positives though; New Fire Emblem, Xenoblade X still looks cool, Majora's Mask DLC for HW, Marth Amiibo rerelease later this year, Codename Steam Fire Emblem Amiibo support, that RPG/Puzzle game looks cool, Wii download titles discount for $9.99 is good. Other than that everything else was butt.

Same, NoA is really dropping the ball on judging the demand for some of their products. Not a huge fan of the Majora's Mask New 3DS XL but I would have definitely bought it over a plain black or red one. Hopefully slow ass Best Buy will have it up for sale soon since I have gift cards and rewards certificates.

That 3DS is fucking weak.  In fact, ALL of the US special edition 3DS XLs are totally beyond lame.  Why do they insist on giving us the weakest designs ever conceived in 7 minutes by a design intern?

I'm really disappointed by the news. I was hoping to upgrade from a DS Lite (which is on its very wobbly last legs) to a New 3DS and compensate for GBA titles with a secondhand GBA or Micro or something, but I really don't want an XL since my hands are tiny. It's better than nothing, I suppose. I can always wait for NOA to give in to fan demand and release the standard-size N3DS, too, since I have a good feeling that that's what's going to happen in a few months, give or take. (Seriously, the changeable faceplates are a HUGE selling point and the fact that US/Canadian buyers won't be able to use them is all sorts of disappointing, and wouldn't Nintendo make more money by selling them here, too?)

That is something I would LOVE to have.

Beautiful packaging, simple, elegant design, and mondo exclusive.

Instead we get yet another gold, silkscreened, tired and old graphic plastered on (Majora's mask).
