Because he's not actually manufacturing a console that plays all the mentioned; he's kitbashing or grafting console into a PC case.

There was a guy who made a Kickstarter for $10 to make a potato salad. He got $55,000. The point is, anyone can make a Kickstarter for anything. Literally, ANYTHING.
