Can anyone give me a bit of their personal feedback on Alien Isolation if it's worth buying?

i saw a lets play on youtube by a guy named nicked goes by username tetra ninja, it was good enough to scare him into not finishing it, it was pretty entertaining to watch...
i know this is not first hand experience, but it's all i've got.
i keep telling my cousin to buy it and he really wants to too.

It was my favorite survival horror game last year! It was truly a stressful and gratifying experience. I highly recommend it.

If you liked the first movie, I think you would like it as well.  The creators of this game got all the little details just right.

It is a slow and long burn.  not much combat and lots of trial and error.  Very good game.

I love it. It's very scary when the alien is hunting you. I recommend wearing a headset too. You can hear the loud thump of its footsteps when it's close. You can't do the same thing twice either or the alien will adapt and catch on. I learned the hard way by running to the same hiding spot and the alien came around the other side and met me head on. I felt an adrenaline rush like real fear as I tried to run away, but the alien is faster than you so this will not work unless you have a significant head start and can lose it around a corner and find an adequate place to hide. I was just murdered for the umpteenth time and my heart is still pumping. The music and atmosphere is also perfect. I highly recommend it.

The little details thing is huge - the more you like the movies, the more of those little things you'll see, and it really makes the game feel special!
