just started the cover project and need serious help

Hi guys. Here recently i wen and bought a color printer to make som GBA covers for my GBA DS cases. Problem is i either print the cover out too small or too large and i can never get it right. I open it up in MS paint, and set the size to LEGAL and LANDSCAPE but tis printing way too small... guys ive wasted a lot of ink trying to figure this out. can someone please help me out. i dont have MS word or photoshop or anything like that simply because i dont have the money id like to do this in paint...please help.

For DS/Gameboy Advance I use paint and set it to legal with 1.55 margins.

Im also having quite a bit of trouble printing ps2 covers..

@FritzWhite man my ds covers just came out perfect! thank you so much! now i just need to know the settings for ps2 and xbox covers.
