I kind of went a little overboard today with craigslist...that place can be dangerous.  I bought a 50 game PS2 set (well, i WILL buy it, as I have to get it tomorrow), but I also got this:

SNES Mini with all cables and 2 controllers (1 third party)
2 NES games (FInal Fantasy and Zelda 2)
8 SNES games
A whole stack of NES manuals

Guy was asking $100 for everything.  Reason he priced it low was that he wasn't sure if the SNES Mini worked, as he couldn't get it to turn on.  But what really sold me on this was the manuals.  These are mostly in great shape, especially the good ones (Castlevania, Final Fantasy, Zelda, etc).  I was also very excited to see the maps for Final Fantasy and Zelda.  So I was willing to take a chance on a maybe broken console.

All of the games work great with no problems.  Some stickers or marker on some, but easily removed.

As for the maybe it will maybe it won't console, it works fine.   :D  Evidently the guy's AV cable wasn't working, and he couldn't get the LED power light to turn on so he assumed it wasn't getting any power...what he did not know is that there is no LED power light on the SNES Mini.  So the system was working just fine, but he had no way to see it since his AV cable was shot.

Would you be able to scan any of those NES manuals?

By manuals do you mean the covers or every page?

If it is every page (which I assume), there are some that look like they have never been used, so I don't want to bend them out of shape.  But for others it would be fine.
For instance, Castlevania games and TMNT games have beautiful, flat manuals so I won't be opening those.  Others, like say Ninja Gaiden or Gauntlet have clear signs of wear, so I would be open to some of those.

Which ones were you looking at?

Salvation Army was selling these as board games for $3. They reduced them to a buck a piece since they were video games (the one I go to, all video games are a dollar)

My LPs Channel. Currently playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Resident Evil 2.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is worth a lot.  :D I'm somewhat jealous. That is a game I always wanted, but it is not a good game, so it is not worth the money to play it.

Nice find. I need to get more 3DO games.
