and with a new "well new to me"  Scanner.  I now took the liberty to rescan warsong.  I already uploaded it.  It's in 600 dpi and right here

Is the quality ok enough now?  I didn't see many options "Using a 98/xp level scanner on vista so I'm stuck with vista drivers"  That flash is gone but it looks kinda blocky since I scanned it so high.

I'm also scanning the warsong manual as we speak.  I may not have a lot of covers that aren't here, but I have a lot of manuals for mainly rpg games that I don't mind scanning.

See if you have a "DESCREEN" or "MAGAZINE" option. That should clear it up a bit
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

Unfortunately, no there isn't any option like that.  It just shows a standard change dpi option .  I'm running the scanner through vista so I don't have any options beyond dpi changing.  Though any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated maybe there's a program I need?  It's an all in one unit from HP from back in 2003 and using standard vista drivers.  But when I get my staples check, I'm going to get this scanner.  Does anyone think this one is good enough?

I finally got my new scanner!   ;D

Now for the test.  I rescanned it and it had the descreen option.  So I used that and here's the new scan.

One thing that SHOULD be pointed out is that you can SEE these dots.  ON THE ORIGINAL sleeve itself!  I'm not joking on that either.

I should point out that the company that made these was incredibly small.  "And probably incredibly cheap"  After about three games, they went out of business.  But they did release two of the rarest genesis games out there.
