Question about Salamander 2/ Deluxe Pack for Saturn

I just got the Salamander Deluxe for the Saturn. It doesn't seem to ever get to GAME OVER when playing Salamander 2. Is there a way to get it to have a game over? Even when I don't play, it beats the levels for me

Sounds like some kind of training mode, have you tried changing the difficulty level?

Yea even on the hardest mode I don't have to play and all the bad guys die

Thanks. I beat it and then it gave me Loop 2. Loop 2 allows me to die. But now that I've powered it up again, I lost my Loop 2. This is frustrating. I don't want unlimited continues. I'm surprised I haven't found much criticism.
