Hey everyone,
I've been printing some of these covers for a month or two now, sizing up my collection. I've noticed that the printer translates the SNES covers the best on photo paper because of how clear the ink sits on the gloss. Printing the dark black color on regular paper tends to make the contrast much worse, and more gray. For this reason, photo (or glossy) paper seems to work the best for SNES stuff. I recently had the misfortune of finding this out after using a bunch of ink on regular 'matte' legal-sized paper, only desiring to go back to photo paper, despite the letter size I was using, even if it did clip some of the edges. But I don't know if legal-size photo paper is made (or cheap). Does anyone have anything they'd recommend for SNES covers specifically (since Genesis and others seem to look fine on matte paper) especially for a lowish-ink print?
Thanks!
