Nintendoadvantage:
I have an snes and a Sega genesis model 3 amongst many more. Are there enough standout games on the TG16 to justify buying one while having the other two? 16 bit is my era and Im very interested in any knowllege that the more expeirienced collectors of that system can tell me. I'll probably get one either way but some starter know how would be great. Thanks.
wiggy:
In a word, yes.
But the TG-16 ain't cheap to collect for, and it's just getting pricier, much like everything else 16-bit.
TDIRunner:
I ended up getting a Core Grafx because it's about the cheapest way to get into the TG-16 system. I can only play Japanese imports with mine unless I do a region mod to it. However, that doesn't matter because in just three days I should get my Turbo Everdrive which will allow me to play US games. It will also help with the fact that this system is very expensive to collect for. I'm still hoping to find a CD unit without spending a fortune. However, having the Japanese Core Grafx helps again, because there are more CD unit options that tend to cost a little less money, and with the CD unit, the region doesn't matter.
With that said, I have a feeling that I'll end up with a Turbo Duo before I find a good CD unit which means I should have just waited and bought the Duo in the first place.
I'm happy I have it though. It's a very overlooked system. ;D
Nintendoadvantage:
Expensive is okay, I am not married and have enough extra cash to throw around. That being said what would you guys reccomend I get ahold of in the area of best system and some good games. I really want to start off on the right foot and not ruin my first expeiriences with the system. Im a man in the dark here as the TG16 has only just recently been popping up a lot more often on forums and youtube vids.
