- Online forums
- Local retro store

For new games:
- Amazon
- Ebay
- Brick and Mortar only if they have a good deal.

I look for old games at pawn shops, but I haven't found a worthwhile game from one since at least 6 years ago.

Where on forums does one go to get games?

Nintendoage has a VERY active for sale/trade section.  Mostly Nintendo-related stuff (shocker), but there is no shortage of other items too. There's one thread up right now with a TON of sweet TG-16 stuff.

It moves fast though. You gotta stay on top of it if you wanna get the good stuff.

but is it better than Ebay prices? If it was, why wouldn't people just sell on ebay?

Yes, because selling on eBay sucks donkey balls and everyone on that forum knows it.  Even if you sell for less on the forum, you make more by way of avoiding eBay fees and the hell that is customer service on eBay.  So the prices on NA tend to be very fair.

I have to say yes and no to this. I made some really sweet deals on NA but also a lot of times people use the retarded VGPC.com as a price indicator. *ugh* Really good and rare stuff is priced on ebay levels often as well. But yes you can have good deals there sometimes.
