It is too bad that the remaster releases from the last generation the ps3 and xbox 360 like Tomb Raider Definitive Edition or the last of us remastered aren't given a more budget release price point like $30-$40. |

I thought that was a great deal. |

Seems like a cash-in to me. Must he hard producing games right at the point when console generations are passing. You'd obviously wanna target as many customers as possible, and the "remaster" thing does seem like a fair enough way to do so in some instances. |

I've just finished playing through the sleeping dogs remaster on ps4. Whilst playing it, I was thinking it wasn't any better than the PS3 version. However, when I was done with it, I went back to the PS3 version to mop up a few trophies I hadn't got around to, and I have to say, comparing side by side, the ps4 version was MUCH better. Predominantly graphics, but the whole feel of it had been improved too. I wouldn't normally buy a hd remake from one gen to the next, but my PS3 sleeping dogs was digital from ps+, and I always knew I would get physical copy at some point. There are some games that I hope do get remastered - for instance I would love the skate trilogy. I just hope they don't start remaking the remakes! Lol |
