Why do girlfriends/wives want you to get rid of your games?

And whilst too many handbags may not be considered a hobby, i would imagine it gives the same pleasure having the collection, as it gives us for ours.

That is a battle you cannot win, my friend. There is NO logic to be extracted by that question, only really, REALLY gnarly stares and a couple of weeks without much in the way of "love" ;)

We men are designed to need that special something only our significant others can provide, and they know it.
In the end, they will prevail.

I also get rid of my games when they go out of fashion. Luckily I've never had to get rid of a game. :D

This right here. She NEVER played games growing up, and when I was talking to her about Zelda one day, asked *GASP* "Who's Link?" However, she's taken quite a liking to them. Not anywhere near where I am, obviously, but she's crazy about Pokemon and DAMN good at Hyrule Warriors. She's expressed a little concern at the Amiibo invasion currently happening in our house, but has never told me I have to get rid of anything.
