According to Nintendo, Gold mario's online preorder stock is only a fraction of what will be stocked in stores.  So i guess that gold mario won't be as rare as most first assumed.

That being said though...I'm debating cancelling my preorders for the SMB line.  I've considered keeping toad but can't say my interest in him or anyone else in that line interest me as much

Keep toad for functionality, I'm getting the rest on sale with my Best Buy GRC thing, I just need Bowser and Yoshi preorders.

The GRC knocks down the price of the MP10 bundle to $50, so the Mario is free.

I have the bundle and the 5 amiibo's already preordered at best buy since I have the GCU also, but before best buy opened up their preorders I had preordered the 5 from gamestop.  So I have 2 sets on preorder but don't care much for either lol.

The problem I have is that it stopped being fun preordering and collecting them.  I want to finish the Smash line, and if they ever do a Metroid, Zelda or Xenoblade line then I'll probably get those...but anything else I doubt i'll get

I remember a time where pre orders were open for longer then 10 minutes and even before that I remember walking into toys r us, and target and seeing at least 20 villagers, 20 wii fit trainers and like 10 Marth's on the shelves waiting patiently to be bought.  Now it's 20 of each from the local scalper anywhere from 5x to 10x the retail price :/

Marth's getting another run because he unlocks content in Project Steam. I don't really see Nintendo rushing to make more Villagers/ Wii Fit Trainers, unfortunately.

Apparently Captain Falcon isn't getting restocked in CA. Once again, if anyone can procure a CF amiibo for me, I will gladly pay you.

Welp, I kinda goofed.

I guess I'm getting the SMB set now, and Yoshi and Bowser were the last 2 I needed, the rest I got on BB on sale, and B/Y were sold out at that point, I was waring for it, I finally decided to go to Walmart, and put both in my cart, and then I got distracted and went back, and Yoshi was out of stock. I snagged Bowser.


If anyone sees a spare SMB Yoshi, and they did not go up on line that day, please snag one for me. I doubt Yoshi will be a problem, It's Yoshi. But if I get boned, it would be nice for someone to help me out.

The cheaper place is really iffy, but the more expensive is reliable once they put the stuff on to pre-order.
