My toys r us order came yesterday. Hope everyone got there orders too... Meta Knight is my next target.

Anyone heard from best buy? I contacted them and was told that 12/31/15 is the release date.

Got my Toys R Us order yesterday.

For Best Buy, they just updated the release date for Ike from 12/31/2015 to 2/20/2015, so I suspect Metaknight won't be too far behind in being changed/shipped. They are probably just waiting for a definitive date from Nintendo.

Got part of my Amazon order in yesterday. Toon Link, Shiek, Bowser, and Sonic! So happy to be able to snag Sonic. Lucario also arrived from Toys R Us. Hopefully Amazon updates their shipping for the other 3 soon.

Well today I went and bit the bullet and ordered my first Amiibo's I ordered Pikachu, kirby and wii fit trainer.. Also ordered a display cupboard to display them on the wall.

Man, these Amiibo release dates really are screwed up! EB Games in our area released Wave 3 with Bowser on Jan 31st, minus Sonic and Mega Man which are said to arrive and release tomorrow with additional Sheik's to cover pre-orders that haven't been filled.

I never thought twice about these Amiibo's as I thought they were just kids toys to watch them play smash bros for you; then I saw Mega Man and thought; that looks pretty awesome - I'll have to get one.  Then I started reading online about Amiibo's in general and the problems with them selling like hot cakes and having to pre-order/hunt them down across the city.  Wow, quite the hot item right now; I had no idea.  So now I'm going around to find the ones I want and will definitely be putting out a pre-order in the future.  Sucks being late to the party   Good thing Samus and Link are ubiquitous; now I just gotta hope my friend is nice enough to sell me one of his two Mega Man's that he pre-ordered!
