My Zelda and Little Mac shipped today, Wave 2b is still pending on Wal-Mart, I have a feeling Wave 2b (Diddy, Falcon, Pit) was released early from some shops, due to a up in the air street date, and that is why they are so rare. My Diddy Kong did ship in from TRU, but Pit and Caption Falcon on Wal Mart are set to ship in 10 or so days, and the spare C. Falcon from TRU eBay did not ship yet.

Gamestop informed me that my Pit, Captain Falcon and Luigi pre-orders shipped.

Im just hating the exclusives for the next wave.

Just went down to my local Argos. They had 1 Marth and 1 Villager.

Check your Walmart website, everyone. Walmart.ca just listed my store as having limited stock of Captain Falcon and Pit (plus plenty of Luigi). After a quick trip down there, I can confirm it was accurate.

I had 2 Lucario orders I was able to relapse, so I might have 2 more on reserve. I also had all of wave 3.

EDIT:
I just got of the phone with a customer servise woman from Toys R Us.

The reson why somepeople (Like Myself) are getting the " Legally, we cannot reinstate your order" is due to how you paid. Paypal orders can't be reinstated is because TRU can not rebill your account, she also mentioned something about state laws.

They are working on a work around for anyone with this issue, to get them back at the same price, so anyone who got the Buy One, Get One 40% can still have their deal. The woman was not sure if sold out items can be re-preorderd.

She also did confirm that it was a site glitch and it was NOT them overselling preorders.

Hopefully this gets resolved.

Miyamoto says that some figures may be discontinued after their initial shipment, however their in game functionality can be accessed with cards that do the same things. What's everyone think about that?

I don't mind the cards just so long as they're priced well...I'd buy a few.  I can't see the cards going for over 1/3 the price of the figures but who knows

On another note...my toys r us preorders have been reinstated, lol this is after putting in another lucario preorder...I don't think I'll cancel it so I may have an extra lucario to sell or trade (rosalina...I'm looking at you)

I've got almost zero interest in cards as a replacement for figures. I'm solely collecting amiibo because they look awesome. At this point I don't even care about their functionality, so a card would seem pretty useless.
