Just got my Splatoon 3-pack in from Target today. I'm glad I waited and didn't end up paying $75+ on eBay. Wish I could say the same about Gold Mario. The whole modern 8-bit Mario being exclusive to a Wii U bundle fiasco has definitely cemented for me that I will finish the Smash Bros and Super Mario lines, and then I'm going to be very selective about amiibos from then on. I'm tired of all the craziness and hassle just to pick up toys that should be as easy to find as Skylanders and Disney Infinity. Same reason I don't pre-order games anymore or worry about missing exclusive pre-order bonuses. The hype of scrambling to get them isn't fun. Plus they've taken over a lot of my desk... |
