Any Saturn fans feel it's the most underrated system ever?

You're right. The way that SEGA released its addons right before it was like "Hey look! We basically gave you three consoles on the market at the same time!" It really just overwhelmed people and so they went with other consoles. SEGA wasn't really the best at strategy at the time.

I only had one friend that had a Saturn when I was a kid.  I remember feeling sorry for him back then.  He was also the only person I knew that had a Turbo Grafx-16. I always think about him when a plunk down a wad of cash for games for these system.

If Sega itself didn't have such terrible management, both in America and Japan, Sega would still be around.

Sega of America's stance during the Saturn age was "Americans don't want RPGs" which is why so many JRPGs stayed in Japan for the Saturn.

During a time when Final Fantasy VII was selling enough copies that if you stacked all sold copies on top of each other, they'd reach the moon.

I don't know how you can see that much money and just say "Nope. We don't need that."

But yeah, currently my systems that are constantly being rotated out in my limited space for playing include the Sega Saturn, X360, PS3 and Retron 5. So, yeah, it's the only system I currently have hooked up that is more than 10 years old. I didn't own one back in the day, but I remember constantly looking through GameFan magazine and salivating at how amazing the games looked for the system.

That's why I tracked down a mod chip for mine. That's just not a collection I can afford to get into, lol.

It's in my top 5 fav systems, no doubt.
