Now I do like Nintendo, but when I think of Nintendo at its best I think of NES and SNES. That's my stuff right there. N64 wasn't bad. But ever since GameCube, it's been really hard for me to get into Nintendo. So I decided earlier this year to go for a Wii U. I wanted to play the new Donkey Kong. Since then, I beat it and gave it to my friend.

Now I only have 2 games for the Wii U. Skylanders (which came with it) and Mario Kart 8. MK8 is cool, but I don't know if I can justify my purchase. It's not as fun as the Mario Kart I play at the arcade sometimes. It's an okay game, nothing wrong, but there are lots of Mario Karts.

Sure, Bayonetta 2 is probably an excellent game. But I'm not convinced that I'm going to like the new Starfox, Sonic Boom. I never really got into Zelda past N64. Sure Mario 3d world looks interesting, but I'm not gonna pay 35 bucks for it or more. Some of these games never go down in price and at times I can't justify my Wii U purchase.

Most of the games I'm interested in are older NES games, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, and PS1. I also have a PS4. There are a few games I'm enjoying on it, but I'm even struggling to find a lot of games for that system. I don't know if I can afford to own 2 current gen systems anymore. I am actually looking for a little cash, and if you're not using the system, would you sell it and then worse case scenario get it later on when it drops even more in price? I really don't know what to do. On one hand I think the system has potential, on the other I'm just not happy with it. But then again it does play some Wii games. Again, there are some Wii games I think are okay, but nothing crazy good.

Get rid of it. If you aren't happy with it, then don't go convincing yourself that you need to keep it. If you want to pick one up again down the road, then do so.  Life's too short and there isn't enough time to over think about stuff like this.  Pop in a game that you really wanna play, for whatever console, and have a blast!

Thanks, Wiggy. The hoarder in me takes over at times. Bottom line is there is a lot more stuff I'd rather play and sometimes you gotta give something to get something. Down the road, prices will drop anyways if I'm interested in picking it up again.
