Sin & Punisemt was sold as used in "good" condition, but is seriously brand new. These contacts have clearly never touched a console :D

Everything else is just working me one step closer to full loose set. Need 83 carts now, and I'm doing my best to make sure that they just get cheaper as I go. By the time I get down to 50 or so carts, what remains should easily be $5 or less per game :)

I sold off all of my standard Wii remotes on Ebay recently to upgrade them to the Motion Plus motes, so I purchased this: ebay listing here
and got this:

I initiated a return. I almost didn't buy from the seller based on their feedback as they had a couple very rude responses to negative feedback they'd received, but the listing picture clearly showed a motion plus remote and the price was right so I took the chance. Next time I'll pay a few dollars more and buy from someone with a better feedback percentage.

^^^ that sucks

Check out sears.com. May not have any luck (didn't in my area), but they've got Wiimotes for next to nothing.

I recently ordered a Waterbird, the seller had it listed with "Minor cosmetic wear" with only i picture of the front. I get it in and the grips are chewed up.  >:(
I filed for a return.

Just found a Nintendo Power Players Guide DREAM Collection on Craigslist....guy just wanted best offers, didn't put up a price.  I saw what was in it and immediately offered $50 and he took it...seemed a little surprised to get that much.

Over 100 issues of Nintendo Power - issue numbers vary, but most are in great condition.  about 50 of these fill in holes of issues I didn't have, and another 20 or 30 are better copies than my current issues.

Of the issues included are a great condition copy of issue 250 (with Mega Man 10) and a seald copy of the final issue of NP from Dec 2012.

In addition were several PLAYER'S GUIDES.  Some great stuff in here:  Yoshi's Story, Diddy Racing, Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, Star Fox 64, Mario 64

Super Mario All Stars, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct

NES Game Atlas, SNES Players Guide, Gameboy Players Guide, NES To Secret Passwords

And the REASON I jumped on this.....Link's Awakening, Link to the Past, Super Mario RPG and Conker's Bad Fur Day - all originals and in great condition.  Good binding, minor signs of wear.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Nice score, Megatron! $50 is an absolute STEAL for all that. It even comes with official Nintendo Power magazine racks that were sold in the Super Power Supplies Catalogue.

I recently upgraded my Link to the Past guide. The only two left that I need to upgrade are Link's Awakening and The Official Nintendo Player's Guide. I'm missing only a handful of Player's Guides for my collection, the majority of them being Pokemon-based, which I have very little interest in.

Thanks!  These are actually my first players guide (except for Goldeneye, which I distinctly remember owning back in 97).  I have a ton of guides but they are mostly Brady, Prima and Versus Books Guides.  I think when a game came out I only had the money for one book, so I generally bought the one that read the LEAST like stereo instructions.  This was almost always Versus, or Brady - Prima if necessary.  I'm really looking forward to sit down and read through some of these.

No way ! The guides really look in perfect condition.
This makes me even more pissed at dumping my NP collection in the dumpsters 10 years ago :(

Several of those early Nintendo Player's Guides are absolutely incredible -- in particular, A Link to the Past and Mario Mania. There is so much extra stuff in there that is fascinating. Definitely pick up Mario Mania when you see it. I often see that one on eBay for rather decent prices and in great condition.
