| snes9xGx menu bug? HALP! |

The saga of the console ghost that lives with me and makes my life miserable continues! I've got a soft modded wii (4.3.2), running the latest HBC version, and the latest snes9xgx, everything is working fine pathwise on the SDcard (2 gb) I'm running everything from - the problem is that whenever I try to play a game, the stupid in game menu (not the in-in-game menu, but SNES9xGX's own menu) pops up EVERY THREE SECONDS. I tried digging into the controller mapping, wasn't it. Tried straightening out the wiimote so that it wouldn't interfere, wasnt it. My controller (Wii Classic Controller) works just fine with FCEUGX and I've had no installation issues at all. What could be causing it? What could I do about it? ??? For demonstration, I'm including a video of me trying to get through the opening and first two screens of metroid... to no avail. I'll try updating mine when I get home and see if I get any issues. Maybe look into installing retroarch for wii. It's not a pretty emulator, but it seems to work very well. |

What version of the snes emu are you running? Recently over at gbatemp I have seen a lot of variations of the snesgx emu. 1) Latest official. 2) with cover flow support. 3) with screenshot support. And my favorite 4) with wiiu pro controllers support. Are you running it from the HBC directly or using plugins support from wiiflow? (Wii flow uses an alternative build on snes emu) |

Never had an issue with FCEUGX so I know its probably not a controller issue or anything like that. What might be wrong, doctor!? |
