So I love how they just tell you to make a new account.  "You're banned.  FOREVER!   Now go make another account and give us more money."

Personally, I would pack that PS up full of cow shit and mail it to them with a big fat thanks but no thanks letter.  But I'm sort of a crazy asshole.

Could be someone just reported your PSN (falsely, of course), of talking about ways to hack the PS4 in public chat. Whether that's someone who you accidentally pissed off online or just someone being a terrible terrible troll, I've heard of things like that happening on Xbox Live occasionally.

Of course, the events I've heard of were cleared up with a phone call, so there's no excuse for the way Sony treated you.

They cannot ban you for violation of terms of service without telling you what it is you have supposedly done.

If you are completely innocent, you Seriously need to get this over their Twitter feed and facebook pages. Include lots of hashtags to reach a wider audience.  Don't be angry or sarcastic.  Just state that they need to tell you what it is you are accused of doing, and that you will be taking the matter further for refund of money spent on psn on that account, and,for compensation for the way you have been treated.

i live in the US and it took a hand letter just for them to replay back to me in email form. I have a second letter ready to go i just need to reinstall  my printer drivers. i mean i want to curse the hell out of them but i have not because i want to get the matter resloved. in letter 2.0 i offered to send in my system to prove there is no hacking going on. i made a new account but the point is THATS MY NAME i lost.

I'm sure that their user agreement states that they can very much so ban you without notice or explanation (not that I think it's okay for them to pull that BS).

It may be in their terms of service that they can ban you - but I am pretty sure that clause cannot be upheld if they cannot give a reason.

indicates that they can ban for pretty much whatever they like - but i would keep at them to tell you what it is you are supposed to have done.  If you believe yourself to be innmocent of all listed violations, how are you supposed to know not to do whatever it was again.

I think it's time you escalated the matter to someone above the monkeys on the front line support.  They probably don't know the reason, and they will just fob you off, hoping you'll go away.  I know you asked to speak to a manager the first time, but I would guess that it wasn't a manager you got passed to.

File a complaint with your state's attorney general's office.

In your complaint state the situation and the value of the unused PSN plus and that sony refuses to refund the amount.

just go kicked in the teeth once again. my PS3 with my Raziel_Leonhart DLC just YLOD on me. There goes even more stuff i lost from this ban. This kinda makes me want to give up playing on home systems and stick to just PC and my 3ds gaming

yeah i know i can get it fixed again. but this week has been crap for me the LCD on my phone broke, my RMA broke in the post, the battery in my k750 keyboard died in less then a week, and i almost had a phone not work after i got it up and running
