As a therapist can I just make one suggestion? Regarding your current hardware and tangible items you purchased...don't do anything. Box them up, put them in a closet, just get them out of your sight for a few days. What I mean is, when in an angered state (even a justifiable one such as yourself) we can make hasty decisions we end up regretting. Getting rid of your PS4 may be right for you, but maybe sell it. Maybe put it away for six months. Maybe donate it to a needy family..etc. But if you smash it, or do something else that is hasty, you are only satisfying a temporary rage, one that will eventually lead to remorse or regret. Think about the gamer who rage quits and throws a controller against the wall. WHat happens next? We need to buy a new controller, maybe fix a wall. Who won? The game did. It beat you. And now it is hitting you in the wallet.
I guess what I'm saying is, don't let THIS hit you in the wallet...any more than it already has, anyway.
Sorry if I over stepped, I just see this kind of stuff a lot. And it never ends well.
