Cheap Wii U's and 3DS's
(1/1)
TDIRunner:
So apparently Sears accidentily listed the Wii U and 3DS online at $59.99 each.  It was only available for purchase online and when you clicked on it, it would say it was unavailable.  However, some people were successful in getting Wal-Mart to price match.  I've seen copies of receipts posted on Facebook showing the selling price and how much they saved.  Apparently, this has been fixed and no longer works, but some lucky people are pretty happy right now.

And no, I was not one of them. :-X

Yea there have been a few people on other sites able to get it price matched

Went there and almost got it. The lady (CSS?, something like that) at first was going to deny it, but then I told her about the recent policy to price-match. She had to call somebody on the walkie-talkie and they confirmed that price-matching was allowed, and then the lady before me looked disappointed but seemed like she was going to do it. But then once she was almost done she confirmed with the other lady on the walkie-talkie: "So if it's on the website we have to price-match it?"
"Yes, so long as it's on the website and you click on it and it's in stock we have to price-match."
"Oh, okay."

So she checked and couldn't get it to pop up so I was out of luck.

On that note, anyone here looking to sell one they might have scored?!

I was one of the many who cashed in.  Took about 45 minutes of haggling with the manager, but they finally relented and followed through with the price match!

I saw this over on CAG. As much as I'd like to buy a Wii U for under $70, I just think that my chances of getting a Walmart PM are slim to none.
